There is a wild population of the [Vulnerable] Black-footed Rock-wallaby Warru (Petrogale lateralis) within the IPA, which is managed by the APYLM Warru program. IPA Rangers have been managing and maintaining soaks and rockholes across the IPA, as well as looking at establishing sites and matching photos from European explorers in the early 1900s.
